The Crested Butte Mountain Wedding Garden is a beautiful wedding and event site tucked in a quiet town park in Mt. Crested Butte, Colorado. It is a joint project of the Crested Butte Wildflower Festival and the Town of Mt. Crested Butte. The magnificent mountain backdrop and spectacular wildflowers make our garden the perfect Colorado outdoor wedding site, as well as an ideal location for your party or special event. The Elk Mountains, hills of wildflowers and, in the fall, golden aspens, are quite simply breathtaking.

It is our goal to support local economies by providing an accessible outdoor wedding and event location in a beautiful mountain setting. The Mountain Garden is a project conceived and sponsored by the Crested Butte Wildflower Festival, a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation.

A fifty percent non-refundable deposit is due one week after booking inclusive of the refundable clean up/damage deposit*.  The remainder is due sixty (60) days prior to your event.  A contract, list of regulations and a checklist will be sent to you shortly after we receive the deposit.  Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first served basis.  When booking the garden, you have the use of the garden for three (3) hours.  When booking the pavilion for a reception along with the garden you may use it the entire day, beginning at 9:00 A.M. and ending at 10:00 P.M.  *Pavilion/Garden deposits are non refundable.    Cleanup/Damage deposit may be refunded.

Eighteen (18), eight-foot banquet tables and 125 white chairs are provided and are included in the garden/pavilion fee.  The garden will seat about 200 guests.  The Pavilion will seat about 100 to 125 guests for a formal dinner reception. In the Garden a fountain sits underneath evergreen trees beside the garden and there is a two person swing for photo opportunities.  An electrical outlet is nearby.  There is a bronze sculpture of a young girl gracing the entrance to the garden. The park pavilion measures 30 feet long plus 12 feet under the porch (no sides); it is 25.5 feet wide.  It is completely enclosed on two sides, the third side has a tan all-weather curtain and the fourth side (looking north) is completely open. There are electrical outlets on each wall.  There are no kitchen facilities on site and there is no changing room provided.  If you are hosting a dinner, you will need to rent linens, china, silverware, etc. Full restrooms and free parking are available.  There can be no assurance of the area being free from snow mid-September to mid-June.  Snow may be removed with permission from Mt. Crested Butte town officials.
